As a planner, I get to know my couples really well, and sometimes a real friendship is born. This was definitely the case with Samantha and Bryce!
From their first inquiry, I knew we’d be a perfect match. Not only did we share the same interests, but we also shared the same wedding venue! Running their wedding day meant returning to the place I said “I do” just a few months before. It was such an emotional day and I just had to make sure everything went perfectly for them! I wanted Castle Green to be just as magical for them as it had been for me.
When Sam and Bryce told me they wanted to incorporate not just one but three fandoms into their wedding, my brain immediately yelled “HOW?” How was I going to find a way to represent these fandoms in one wedding without it being convoluted? I decided to examine the world and its terrain more closely and realized all three possessed woodland elements. That became the underlying aesthetic that tied Harry Potter in with Hunger Games and Lord of the Rings. The result was magical!
“One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them…”
” …One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.”
Loved the Mockingjay pin on the Groom’s boutonniere!
The Marauder’s Map made an amazing invitation suite. Styled with ivy to keep the woodland feel going.
River stone escort cards FTW!
Give me all the Whomping Willow feels!
THAT CAKE!! Such an elegant take incorporating all three themes!
And even Professor Trelawney made an appearance!
